DESK WORK

Now that I have sorted out the technicalities of box.net, with the help of several [much younger] readers of this blog, I am able to make readily available the multi-part essays that I have been writing on a variety of topics. Three of them are already available, including the entire tutorial on Marx [click on the link at the top of the page of this blog, to find them]. I have now embarked on the very substantial task of editing my entire autobiography -- all three volumes of it -- incorporating where I can the enormously helpful comments of Charles Parsons and many others. and then posting each chapter in box.net. As I complete a volume, I will also post the entire volume as a single file, should anyone wish to download it in that form. I imagine this will take me a good long while, during which time I may be blogging less often than usual. I am not happy with the acrimonious tone of some of the exchanges of comments, to be honest, and would prefer not to get even more deeply involved with them. I prefer to light a candle rather than curse the darkness.

Professor Wolff –
Thanks for posting the material on box.net – what a great idea. If any given publisher continues to lack the obvious foresight and fails to publish your complete autobiography, at least I will have the ability to print it out for my own personal copy. Thanks again!

Iam glad this is helpful. Chapter Two is up, and over the coming weeks, the entire 800 page monstrosity will be available.

Professor Wolff,

Will the "Formal Methods in Political Philosophy" series be archived there too?

Thank you for all your work and "light" professor. You have illuminated a sophomore at a community college in central California's intellectual life.

Dominic, I could not be happier that my blog has reached you. Good show!

The Formal Methods series will eventually be archived on box.net, but first I waqnt to get through the entire Autobiography, which is going to take me a while!
