With Gmail it's easy to send a group email to everyone on your list of contacts, etc. s. wallersteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17448905469871566228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5687347459208158501.post-23336095612421796472016-11-30T17:43:27.397-05:002016-11-30T17:43:27.397-05:00Good point. There must be ways to find a progressive, motivated, technically savvy person at UNC. If we had to pay him or her, we could all throw some money in the hat. (Progressives have always been good at that, back in the day when we threw actual money into actual hats. This person could hook the org. up to PayPal.) But I think the effort will take an actual, flesh and blood techie. The site allows you to create a group, collect and manage membership information, set privacy settings, set a calendar, and use discussion forums. Best I can tell most of the features are free. I am in no way affiliated with the company but know folks who use it to manage local boy scout troops and sports groups.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15818903979393678595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5687347459208158501.post-87054980641178475462016-11-30T15:55:39.875-05:002016-11-30T15:55:39.875-05:00I can not help directly but I would suggest talkin...I can not help directly but I would suggest talking to Marcus Ranum who does know about such things. He blogs at Freethoughtblogs.com as stderr (It was his recommendation that brouht me to your blog)AndrewDnoreply@blogger.com
