I know, I know, most of us stick with what we like. Still, bracketing out an entire half of a universe (i.e.: all white wine or all red wine) strikes me as somewhat – for lack of a more effective phrase – “philistine-ish.” I suggest you both split a bottle of a dry Rhone rose and go from there. Better yet, try a rose Champagne or sparkling wine.
