I also spent tons of time grappling with the Phenomenology of Spirit, by Hegel, without much to show for it right off. A decade later, I revisited Marx and suddenly it was gripping and vital. <br /><br />I wonder if you have an opinion on what Marx's angle is in On the Jewish Question, that most controversial writing.
