Indeed those who were most heavily invested in the movement were the ones who spoke out most adamantly against limiting the movement by tying it to a particular issue and acknowledging the legitimacy of our current government. There's been a lot of debate about this within the movement itself, as the lack of demands is the most frequent criticism one hears. Zizek--who I usually don't have the patience to read--has come out in favor of keeping the movement "demandless" as it were. Honestly, at this point I'd like to think the movements best impact will be to educate and lay the groundwork for later, greater reform and upheaval, but that's just me. <br />Michael M.<br /><br />PS Can I apologize for HA's blatant trolling?
