Something similar was omnipresent on the left in Chile during the Pinochet dictatorship and it made life and even risking life worth it, but 25 years of neoliberalism (and easy consumer credits) since the end of the dictatorship have made Chile ultra-individualistic, probably worse than the U.S., since the puritan ethic in the U.S. includes (or did include) a sense of responsibility towards others, while there's no puritan ethic in Chile. <br /><br />I'll listen to the Beethoven string quartet in YouTube. s. wallersteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17448905469871566228noreply@blogger.com
