YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP
Down in New Orleans, where the crazies are meeting, Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman, new best friends, said that they were "two horsemen," and put out a call for two more [i.e., the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, I assume]. They said there were many candidates, including Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, and the entire Cheney family. "When you add them all up, there are 666." I mean, this is an SNL skit, right? Do they even understand that 666 is the Number of the Beast? I hereby forswear rational analysis of the political scene. The only way to defeat them is to drive stakes through their hearts -- unless anyone has silver bullets. This would be a good time to lay up a stock of garlic.
If this 666 quote came from Andy Borowitz at the Huffington Post, I'd say it's a joke. His schtick seems to be weak satire: the post immediately preceding this was "Virginia Governor Proposes Building Giant Hot Tub Time Machine."
ReplyDeleteSigh. Suckered again. I am so easy!
