The Pluhar translation drives me batty because of the excessive translation related footnotes. Meaning is more important than literalness, and here Kemp Smith has the advantage.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13602650703114898406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5687347459208158501.post-74141089546125683462016-06-05T02:26:58.328-04:002016-06-05T02:26:58.328-04:00Only the Critique, not the Foundations. Is that correct?

I ask because I'll make an effort to follow the course, but I don't have time to do any extra reading. I may even end up reading both in Spanish translations since it's easier and cheaper for me to buy them.

Thanks for doing the course, in any case. I'm looking forward to it.s. wallersteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17448905469871566228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5687347459208158501.post-40543190522651978552016-06-04T14:08:41.176-04:002016-06-04T14:08:41.176-04:00OK. These two were undertaken to remedy defects and inaccuracies in Kemp Smith - so presumably in their eyes Kemp Smith can't be "the only good English translation".Acastoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02396103259765857115noreply@blogger.com
