We will miss that wonderful place to stay just off Place Maubert. But we will always have Paris! - Again, some how, we hope. I have only been to Paris once, and only for a few days on my way down to southern France (for the honeymoon with my wife), but it made a strong impression. Like David P. I walked and walked. We stayed in the 2nd. Arr., on a small street called the rue des Jeuneurs, so on the wrong side of the Seine. But we walked every day south to the areas around your apartment, so this sparks some (very happy) memories for me.Jordanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06185714592855577979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5687347459208158501.post-65668808300948613802021-03-23T18:30:44.972-04:002021-03-23T18:30:44.972-04:00Oh yes. I've been ...I look forward to your travelogue. I've been to Paris only a few times--and walked and walked and walked every time. Our last trip was in January 2013. We rented a small apartment on rue Guisarde in the 6th Arr., near Saint-Sulpice. It was on the floor above a a restaurant called Monteverdi. Alas, it had nothing to do with Claudio and wasn't very good to boot--in Paris! I just love that city. Both my wife and I have health problems that won't let us return, but as Rick said to Ilsa, "We'll always have Paris."David Palmeterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01895092366685079046noreply@blogger.com
