BIG DAY TOMORROW

Readers of this blog may recall that my blog posts in February and into March of this year consisted for the most part of a twenty part essay entitled "What Have I Been Doing Since the 1970's?"  The essay was an attempt to provide a unified overview of all the work I have done in the past forty years on the thought of Karl Marx.  Tomorrow, from 2-5 p.m., I shall participate in a seminar at Duke University, attended, I am told, by roughly twenty-five faculty and graduate students from a number of Departments, at which that essay, retitled "A Unified Reading of Marx," will be discussed.  The essay has been circulated and folks have promised to read it before the seminar meets.  Afterward, I shall report on how things went.  Professor Michael Gillespie, who arranged the affair, warns me that I may have trouble getting a word in edgewise.  That would be a first!
