DARK DOINGS

I took my first Paris morning walk this morning [in a light rain -- Audrey Hepburn may think that the first time you see Paris it should be raining -- Sabrina -- but I would have been just as happy to stay dry.]  When I neared the end of the first half, I saw the row of batobuses lined up on the Seine.  There was the Yves Montand, just as I expected.  But the Jean Gabin was gone!!  I do not know what mischief is afoot in the French cinematic world, but it does not look good.
