WHO'S ON FIRST?

Nicholas Kristof is a superbly educated journalist who writes serious stuff for the NY TIMES.  But apparently he has a splendid satirical side of which I was not aware.  This is a must read Op Ed column taking off from an immortal Abbot and Costello routine.  A must read.

    Besides being hilarious, the dialogue is also utterly, terrifyingly believable. It's a mad, mad world!

    I normally can't stand Kristof because of his lofty humanitarian imperialism, but I trust you and you're right: it is funny. I laughed so hard that it brought my cough back, but it will go away.
