His comments are insightful but he is missing a big piece. At 1:15 he says, mostly white males are angry. Lower class and lower middle class white males. And their traditional wives go along.
Nope; white women went for Trump. You can't analyze this as a trend driven by men, with women going along because they haven't got brains and do what traditional women do. White women's anger is every bit as much of this as white men's. If we want to understand, we have to apply economic and political analysis to women as well as men, so, turn it around. Why would white women go for Trump?
