IT CANNOT BE REPEATED OFTEN ENOUGH

The number of people who voted for Obama in 2012 and for Trump in 2016 is significantly smaller than the number who voted for Obama in 2012 and simply did not vote in 2016.  We do not need a moderate closet Republican as our nominee.  We need someone who will inspire the sort of turnout we saw in 2018.

    Does anyone have any statistics on what percentage of those who voted for Obama in 2012 and who did not vote in 2016 are African-American?

    The following is from the Pew Center and are highly reliable numbers.

    "Hillary Clinton did not run as strongly among these core Democratic groups as Obama did in 2012. Clinton held an 80-point advantage among blacks (88% to 8%) compared with Obama’s 87-point edge four years ago (93% to 6%). In 2008, Obama had a 91-point advantage among blacks."

    There is one sure-fire way Biden, Sanders, or Kamala could absolutely crush Trump in the poles. That's if President Obama doesn't mind becoming Vice-president Obama with whoever wins the demo ticket. Or maybe he legally cannot? I don't know right now.

    I think Biden could name Obama as his running mate for the election. But if Biden won, the Electoral college could pick an alternative to make the election legal.
