RedRosa: Busy week this week, so I've only been able
to provide an additional one-time contribution to Bernie on top of my monthly
donation.
Howard Berman: I have running contributions to the
Democratic Party;
Tom Cathcart: Had surgery this week, so can't say I did a
lot, but did write a grant application to try to get some money to local
asylum-seekers. The problem here is particularly thorny. The preponderance of
them are from the same indigenous tribe in Guatemala and speak neither Spanish
nor English.
Charles Perkins: 1) volunteered to phone bank for Warren
2) watched debates,
talked to my moderate friends who also watched the debates about the debates.
Used these conversations as an opportunity to support Warren.
3) Resolved to look
at polls less and focus more on supporting Warren because
4) Spent time staring
at the polls wishing Warren ahead
5)Went to a breakfast
on LGBTQ+ issues at the synagogue in Santa Barbara. I learned a lot about these
issues wrt to Judaism, and I helped boost turnout.
Robert Paul
Wolff: Donated another $100 to Warren,
made my usual small donation to Bernie, called Senators Burr and Tillis to urge
them to get McConnell to bring Senate back to act on gun control, attended a
North Williams Democratic Party gathering to canvas for volunteers [did not
actually canvas], will go to an envelope stuffing party tomorrow called by the
Chatham County Democratic Party
