A BULLET DODGED

I had been fearful that the Trump legal team would seek to make a circus of the Senate trial, but their choice of lead litigators makes it clear that they are taking this affair with the solemn seriousness it deserves.  They have put forward a man who stated, in no uncertain terms, that when he received a massage from one of the girls provided by his client, Jeffrey Epstein, he "kept his underwear on."  I am much reassured.

  1. Wow, what a curiously blinkered approach to self-exculpation. One can surely see the hole in the argument.

  2. It seems that Trump might well end up firing Dershowitz, first of all because of his affirmation that he would never vote for Trump and second, because Trump would be very uncomfortable around the kind of guy who keeps his underpants on when the party is at its height. Dershowitz seems like too complex a human being for Trump to deal with: he likes being around simple, basic thugs like himself, for example, Guiliani.

  3. The thing is, he'll never get impeached by the Senate. U.S. politics and the global political landscape is becoming a reality tv show. Thats what really worries me because nukes make good screening on a slow day.

  5. Here's one that rivals "kept his underwear on" for the Golden Bizarro Award: Joy Reid bringing on a "body language" expert to show how Bernie, "hunch like a turtle," is indeed a liar. Next, MSNBC reports, AM JOY will feature readings from The Protocol.
