Playing with my iPhone, I discovered that on it I can listen to news clips from the various cable news channels. The picture is rather small but the sound is splendid. Who knew? I thought I would share this information with others of my generation. Do you suppose young people know about this?
The most relevant question is: can you imagine them ever using this feature?
ReplyDeleteGiven the existence of Wash Post, NYT, PBS NewsHour, BBC, Reuters, various non-English sources (depending on one's linguistic facility) and various specialized news sites (and blogs), I'm not sure why anyone would choose cable news channels as a news source. But then I never watch them, so maybe they're better than I suppose.

ReplyDeleteApologies for the off-topic but somewhat south of here there was some criticism of Biden for screwing over railroad workers on sick leave in the then recent agreement. NSM it seems:
