WOW!!!

I mean WOW.  Almost immediately, three readers of this blog, Professors James Schmidt, Michael Froomkin, and David Auerbach, emailed me versions of my piece that they had run through a scan with character recognition [or whatever it is called].  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  I am going to spend a little time cleaning up what they sent me and then post it on the blog.

In his email message, Michael Froomkin cited one passage and said that he liked it, not because he thought it was true -- he doesn't -- but because he thought it was great lawyering!  That strikes me as a really brilliant compliment -- one that comes with a little knife in it.
