I am a long time Bernie supporter, but I have this nagging feeling he may carry too much socialist baggage to beat Trump. I can live with any Democrat that can beat the Orange Ogre. Can anyone convince me that Bernie can Win?

I don't know why anyone does anything, so I won't make predictions. But note that Al Gore ran as a centrist. John Kerry ran as a centrist. Barack Obama ran on a platform of change (whether or not he lived up to it). Hillary Clinton ran as a centrist.

The candidate's charisma is as important as his or her platform in attracting voters. Gore had no charisma nor did Kerry and Hillary Clinton had negative charisma. Obama was charismatic as is Sanders.

Sanders can win against Trump unless, as is really possible, the DNC sabotages him.
