There is still $250 on the table to match an additional $125 in donations to the DLCC. Let us not leave anything to chance! Any small donors to fill up the bucket?

I just sent $75 to the DLCC to match Agent86's donations. I missed his post and your response in the thread.
We're getting there. Where are the $10 and $20 donations? That's my usual monthly amount for the DLCC and a couple of legislators. I'm splurging on this match.
If you give online to the DLCC, do you open yourself to getting a lot of emails?
If not, I'll prob make a small contribution, but I may not get to it till this wkend.

Yes, they will come back for more (all of them do) but you can easily unsubscribe. My experience has been that they respect that.
ok. I'm busy w/ other things tonight but I'll give 10 dollars either tomorrow or sometime over the weekend; will post here once I've contributed.
p.s. I make a monthly automatic contribution to Oxfam; that's my main regular giving. But in light of the current political situation in the U.S., I think I can part w ten dollars ;).
s.w. I meant to quibble yesterday wrt the politically self-defeating tendency to refer to “red states” and “blue states”—politically self-defeating because it tends to ignore and further isolate those who are fighting the good fight in many places, as the following report about Wisconsin shows is going on:

As an addendum, I’ve encountered trumpists in California and socialists in North Dakota and Missouri. Please don’t make the task of the anti-reactionaries more difficult by just writing them off because of where they live or by eliding that the reactionaries are all around us, even in New York and California.
Anonymous,
There seem to be two very distinct and at times antagonistic cultures roughly, although not precisely, divided on geographical lines.
Maybe you, the good guys, are going to convert a sizeable portion of the benighted bad guys to your cause. That could happen.
Maybe the chief bad guys, De Santis and his ilk, are going to turn out to be more moderate than most of the commenters here imagine if they are elected and the country is going to go back to business as usual pre-Trump. Maybe the Supreme Court, post overturning Roe vs Wade is going to realize that enough is enough and not push their cause any harder. That could happen too.
However, if the Republicans and the far right are as ruthless, as authoritarian and as ideologically determined as most of the commenters here say they are, sooner or later there's going to be a break. The folks in the states with more progressive voters (and of course not everyone in Berkeley, California is progressive) are going to get fed up and ask for a divorce.
How that divorce will work out is impossible to determine, but countries do break up.
Sometimes peacefully as with Checkoslovakia and sometimes not so peacefully as with Yugoslavia.
I've now contributed $10 to the DLCC.
Thanks LFC. I've just matched it. How about it folks? We need a few more $10s.
I just donated another $30.00 to the DLCC.
