Greetings from Riga,

I'm reading and mulling over what you wrote because its a topic dear to my heart and mind.  It has direct ramifications here as this post-Soviet society adjusts its educational system. With an M.A. In Philosophy from a humble State university in PA, i learned how important it is that such ideas don't exist alone in a vacuum & need to be shared & scrutinized.

Personally, i know how important it is to know someone else is thinking about it as well. So more will come from me, and i too am relieved that someone - you - are also considering this topic. While i am not in the position as in 1992 to recommend a new curriculum to the Ministry Of Education for teachers (i reintroduced the notion of our medieval love, *humanities*), i can at least give some preconsidered analyses, insights, and opinions.

Please forgive the small "i"s since i'm tapping this out from an iPhone, and most importantly - thank you for writing and sharing your thoughts!

A fellow philosopher in cyberspace,
