STILL HERE, A LITTLE THE WORSE FOR WEAR

I took a painful fall last night. X-rays today showed no broken bones but I am afraid I am a bit achy here and there. Such is life.

Sorry about that, but at the same time glad to hear that there are no broken bones.

I know how you feel. For about 10 years now I have had to be aware of the space I am in and if the need arises, where I can fall with minimal damage to me. It is as they say a bitch. All the best!

Sorry to hear, Christopher J Mulvaney, PhD.

My impulse is to scold you to be more careful. I'm not sure that says anything good about me. But be careful.

When I was younger, I thought little of walking and those T.V. commercials where people fell down and needed help. In my forties now I sometimes get vertigo attacks walking down a flight of stairs. When I was going through infantry school, after my junior year of Highschool, running down cement stairs and earthy hillsides was fun. Now when I recollect about those times I say to myself, "How the heck did I do that without falling and breaking my neck?"

When Oedipus was a young man he must have been very wise to figure out something young people barely think about or ever want to think about. And there was a man eating Sphinx pressuring him to boot.
